FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can audition?
Anyone between the age of 12-20. You do not need to be a Calabasas High School student to audition for the summer production.
When do we rehearse?
Rehearsals take place at the CPAEC after summer school sessions. Click button below for schedule.
How much does it cost?
We have three cost schedules. There is a $800 registrations fee for students wishing to be part of the cast with a $200 deposit required to reserve an audition time. The registration fee for students wishing to participate in either crew or pit band is $300. The fee covers the cost of the production, including staffing, rental of the space, materials and snacks. Will everyone be cast?
Yes, we will find a place in the show for everyone who auditions. This show has great ways to highlight acting, singing, and dancing.
Why join the crew?
Have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with professional level technology. All of our staff are experts in their field and tremendous with training students interested in technical theater. Areas include: Set construction and painting, Lighting, Sound, Props, Costumes, Hair and Makeup, Stage Management and backstage crew ) No previous experience needed. We will teach you everything you need to know!
