Picture a glamorous resort hotel on the Mediterranean beach in the 1920s. Think elegant costumes, jazz-age style, romance, comedy, add some scandal and chaos — like a family-friendly White Lotus.
Now add shipwrecked twins, disguises, mistaken identities, love triangles, and pranks galore. This fall, our cast and crew will bring this Shakespearean comedy to life in a brand-new way, in a stylish seaside world with vintage flair.
Twelfth Night tells the story of when twins Viola and Sebastian are shipwrecked and separated. Viola disguises herself as a man to survive — and suddenly finds herself caught in a love triangle between Duke Orsino, the noble Lady Olivia, and herself in disguise!
It’s witty, it’s wild, and it’s a story about love, laughter, and not taking life too seriously. Enjoy the ride with us as we bring our version of Twelfth Night to the CHS stage!
