Donor Drive

Dear Calabasas High School Theater Patrons:

For over 30 years, our illustrious Theater Program has continued to serve the needs of our talented students, providing them with the best educational theater throughout Southern California. We turn out confident young actors who are accepted into the finest colleges across the nation, where they continue to grown in their chosen specialties. We have continually invested in the finest specialists, upgraded equipment and provided top rated workshops that have helped to create an environment where our students can explore every facet of the theater and hone in on his or her greatest strengths.

Our brilliant Director, Bill Garrett, is at the core of this award-winning program, giving each student his own combination of gentle yet direct guidance and unlimited individual attention. He has an uncanny ability to find each student's strengths and help them grow and realize their own acting and musical talents.

This year we want to concentrate on the following:

Equipping our existing theater with new sound and lighting technology that can also be utilized in the new facility.
Continue offering interesting workshops and bringing in specialists to allow our students to flourish as young actors.
Fund many of the positions that support our program, such as technical director, make-up specialists, wardrobe coordinators, and more.
Cover transportation costs for Comedy Sportz workshops and DTASC festivals.
Provide scholarships for graduating Seniors who have been active within the theater program, both on stage and backstage.

Of course, there are many other costs and incidentals that, each year, add up. Yearly, this is a challenge for our Booster Board but because of your generosity we always meet our goal.

This year our goal is to raise $50,000, allowing us to continue bringing you, our community, the most spectacular and professional performance possible. It will also allow us to provide our students with the necessary tools to continue broadening their abilities and reaching their potential. All of this is a community effort and we wouldn’t be able to do this without the support of people like you. Our new donor drive offers every family the opportunity to give and be recognized for supporting our program.
