We hope that everyone's summer is off to a great start. We are busy planning for the upcoming school year.

This past year was a successful and exciting time for our program. Our productions of Beauty and the Beast and Flowers for Algernon were big hits. Our students produced a successful Murder Mystery Night and we saw our ComedySportz program continue to flourish. We also competed at the DTASC (Drama Teachers' Association of Southern California) Festival where we won first place overall at the Fall Festival and fourth place overall at the Shakespeare Festival. This was quite an accomplishment considering that nearly seventy public, private and performing arts magnet schools from throughout Southern California participated.

The day after we graduation, we celebrated the groundbreaking of our new Performing Arts Education Center. This should be an amazing facility for our students and community. Please find more information about the new Performing Arts Center in the left hand tab. We will be updating a new page filled with pictures and plans very soon!

I am excited to announce our shows for the upcoming 2010-2011 season:  We will be producing the Pulitzer Prize winning comedy Harvey by Mary Chase as our Fall Play. Our spring musical will be the Cole Porter classic Anything Goes!
